Drunk Driver Nabbed After Fleeing Traffic Stop, Hiding in Bedford Neighborhood
Nashua man booked for aggravated DWI and disobeying an officer, among several other charges.

Bedford Police, in the early Saturday morning hours, were forced to set up a perimeter around a Bedford neighborhood to net a man who fled the scene of a traffic stop on South River Road.
According to a Bedford Police press release, Jeremy Tappan, 24, of Nashua, was pulled over at roughly 2:10 a.m. after his Ford Focus was observed traveling more than 30 mph over the speed limit southbound, past on South River Road.
After coming to stop in front of Manchester Country Club Tappan reportedly jumped out of his vehicle and ran into a nearby wooded area.

A perimeter was set up around the Village Green residential community and within 45 minutes Tappan was found hiding on Pebble Beach Drive.
Tappan was taken to the Bedford Police Station and booked for aggravated DWI, disobeying an officer and operating after suspension. He was also processed on two electronic bench warrants, and a theft warrant from Nashua Police.

Tappan refused bail services and was taken to the Hillsborough County Correctional facility to await a Monday morning arraignment.
