Annual parade to honor Nashua's many war heroes, who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, some making the ultimate sacrifice. Once known as Decoration Day, Nashua's VFW and auxiliary groups take time to place flags on the graves of war veterans buried in Nashua cemeteries. The city's annual parade will begin at Holman Stadium and progress down Amherst Street and then to Main Street, ending at City Hall. City Hall will be closed for the holiday.
