Fancy Friday is back at it again, with the latest in our series of downtown events! We've had a lot of fun over the past two years, and raised thousands of dollars for local charities along the way!
The highlights:
Event wrist bands will be available at The Timber Grille at 57 Factory Street from 5-9:30 p.m.
There will be FREE portrait photography with Matthew Lomanno Photography at the Amsterdam upstairs VIP lounge from 8-10 p.m. Don't be late!
The night will end at Fody's Tavern, where they will be opening up the downstairs lounge there, especially for Fancy Friday participants
All participating locations offer generous discounts through the night for people with event wrist bands. (Thank you to all of our venues!) The line up for this next event includes the above three, and Saffron Bistro (a Fancy Friday newcomer), Stella Blu, San Francisco Kitchen, Obrien's - with some locations offering as much as 15-20 percent off of food AND drink!
If you have not been out for one of our events, here are the basics: People purchase wrist bands, with the money going to a local charitable cause. Wristbands are $10, and come with many perks including discounts, cover charges waved at all participating locations, free portraits, and that warm feeling you get when you know you are helping with a great cause!
Dress Code: As fancy as you want to be, but no pressure! Just have fun with it.
April 12 Fancy Friday benefits "Gate City Community Gardens 'Seed Money' Campaign" to raise some of the funds needed for a downtown community garden project that the group hopes to break ground on this spring!
