Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Chrissy Savage who nominated 1st Sgt. William Savage of Nashua.
What makes your dad extra special?
He has always been such a hard dedicated worker as well as a soldier! He has always put his kids first to always make sure that their happiness came first. Being a truck driver for a civilian job and being a part-time soldier in the National Guard, he never complains and keeps on going so his kids could have a better life than he did.
Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?
He deserves the spotlight because he's done five deployments overseas to make sure his children are safe in our country is safe! He is a selfless man who would do anything for anybody and give his shirt off his back for those he loves! Unfortunately, he won't be here this Father's Day for he is deployed overseas at this time on his fifth deployment!
Happy Father’s Day to William Savage, and thank you for all you do!
