Bringing the block party back to
Nashua, in a big way! Save the date: September 21, 2013!
There
is nothing better than a good old fashioned block party, right? How
about 4-10 simultaneous block parties at once, throughout the
city?
A city-wide block party is something that residents have
been calling for a return of for some time, as years ago it was not
uncommon for a widely attended event to be organized in the city,
which many have fond memories of.
Nashua Block Party will
include four main organizer-supported events in French Hill, The Tree
Streets Neighborhood, Nashua High School North, and Roby Park. In
addition to these four events, organizers will put together support
packages for neighborhoods that wish to hold events on the same day.
They will benefit from material and logistical support.

that come from different organizations in the city, including Chris
Williams of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce, Michelle Ducie of
Neighborworks of Southern NH, Aldermen Sheehan, Vitale, and
Melizzi-Golja, Shaun Nelson of the Police Athletic League, Paul Shea
of Gate City Community Gardens, and Chris Malloy of Community Events
LLC, The City of Nashua, as well as others who are interested in
promoting a greater sense of community within the city.
