'Genuine' Nashua Dad 'Has The Biggest Heart Ever!'

NASHUA, NH— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Nashua, meet Nathan Bickford.

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Melissa Maria who nominated Nathan Bickford of Nashua.

What makes your dad extra special?

This man is not my father, but yet a very important man that stepped up to be a fantastic role model to a boy that — although biologically not his —has always been there physically, emotionally and with every piece of his heart just as if he were his own. For the past seven years, Nathan has been everything and more to a 13-year-old boy. I just want to give him a shoutout for being top-notch and as always an MVP in the eyes of both of us! We love you!

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

Nathan is humble, kind, respectful, hard working, caring and a genuine man that has the biggest heart ever!
