Hudson Firefighters Battle Shed Fire
Shed sustains heavy damage, but firefighters save nearby house and tractor.
Hudson firefighters battled a shed fire at 161 Bush Hill Road on April 19 after residents reported brush around the structure catching fire nearby a house.
A tanker and forestry assistance were called in from Litchfield, as well as a Nashua engine.
Firefighters arrived to find the shed heavily involved. Residents were not at home at the time and there were injuries reported. The flames were knocked down and the house and a tractor nearby were not damaged, Hudson Fire reports.
The mutual aid from Nashua and Litchfield was returned before their arrival at Bush Hill.
While firefighters were responding to the shed fire call they spotted a brush fire in the area of Pelham Road. A Hudson forestry, command vehicle and a Nashua engine responded to that call.
