Hudson Standoff Ends Safely

Residents of Central Street between Ferry and Chase streets were asked to stay inside their homes earlier Tuesday morning.

UPDATE: The standoff has ended safely and a suspect is in police custody, according to WMUR. We'll have more to report later today.

An earlier story follows:

A portion of Central Street in Hudson is shut down as police deal with an ongoing incident involving a barricaded subject.

The Hudson Police Department said around 6 a.m. that the incident is taking place on Central Street between Ferry and Chase streets. Central Street is closed between those two roads, and the public is asked to stay away from the area until the issue is resolved. Residents are asked to stay inside unless it is absolutely necessary.

Further information will be released later Tuesday morning.
