Hudson Power Failure, Substation Fire

Hudson firefighters responded Thursday morning to the Public Service of New Hampshire sub-station on Power Street for a report of two explosions and a fire at that sub-station. The incident resulted in outages nearby.

Arriving firefighters discovered a brush fire burning under several high tension telephone poles. 

Six firefighters from the Central Fire Station manning one engine, one forestry truck and one command vehicle responded and quickly had the fire under control, Hudson Fire Department reported.
