PFFNH President Dave Lang says hundreds of off-duty firefighters will join thousands in Boston.
Hundreds of New Hampshire firefighters are attending a memorial service for a fallen brother, that of Boston Lt. Edward Walsh, in Watertown, Mass. on April 1.
And the hundreds of off-duty firefighters from the Granite State will be paying their respects to Walsh at his funeral on April 2, and then will honor Boston firefighter Michael Kennedy, said David Lang, president of the Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire.
The wake for Kennedy is April 2, followed by funeral services April 3. Walsh and Kennedy died while fighting a nine-alarm blaze in Boston's Back Bay last week.
