Investigation Underway Into A Postal Carrier Robbed Outside A House

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police and U.S. Postal Inspectors are investigating a report of a postal carrier being robbed on Blacksmith Way Tuesday.

Sources confirm that two masked people, wearing hoodies and believed to be men, robbed the postal worker and a third person involved was in a vehicle. Keys were reportedly stolen from the mail carrier, who was uninjured during the incident.

After the robbery occurred, two BOLO (be-on-the-lookout ) alerts were broadcast about the incident. The second alert corrected the first and stated a gray Ford Flex SUV with Massachusetts license plates was involved in the incident. The driver was a white or Hispanic woman. The two men were armed during the incident.

Surveillance video obtained by Boston25 shows the incident as it happened.

Detectives are at the scene, canvassing the area, looking for evidence and video of the incident.
