Jazz Night to Benefit West Pearl Street Mural Project

If you enjoy a variety of great songs performed in jazz style, come see Pam Purvis and Bob Ackerman at the Nashua Community Music School. You will have an entertaining evening while supporting the arts in Nashua. The proceeds from the performance will benefit the West Pearl Street Mural Project.

The couple, based in the New Jersey/New York area, have performed all over the US, Europe and Mexico.

According to Lenore Raphael of the Jazz Spot, “Pam Purvis is one of the hippest singers I know.”

The American Record Guide says “As a performer on saxophone, clarinet, and flute, Ackerman is exceptionally expressive and musical … with a large variety of styles and expressions.”

The performance is presented by City Arts Nashua and is sponsored by the Nashua Community Music School and Darrell’s Music Hall.

Tickets are available at the door for $15 and $10 for seniors and students. Doors open at 7 p.mm with the performance at 7:30 p.m.. The Nashua Community Music School is located at 5 Pine Street Extension in Nashua’s Historic Mill Yard. Parking is free.
