NASHUA, NH — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

When: 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., July 4

The Slakas will perform at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps at 7:30. Nashua Hall of Fame inductions will be announced at 8 p.m. Kids 12 and under, and the first 500 adults get in free.

Amherst Classic Car Parade
Where: Starts at Wilkins School and ends at Town Hall in Amherst, NH
When: 10 a.m., July 4
Amherst's theme for this year's celebrations is "Americana." After the parade, head to the Amherst Village Green for craft demonstrations, food and more.

Tewksbury Independence Day Celebration
Where: Livingston Street Recreation Center
When: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., July 3
The Tewksbury Rotary Club kicks off the festivities with a continental breakfast featuring Donna's Donuts. The fun continues all day long, with games, contests, face painting and more, ending with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
