Life Goes on In Crown Hill, as Neighbors Watch, and Wait
It's been 10 days since William and Eleanor Grant were found dead inside their home.

Life in Crown Hill is almost back to normal.
But not quite.
Still unresolved, particularly for neighbors, is the question of what happened to William and Eleanor Grant, an older couple who were found stabbed to death inside their Newbury Street home on June 17.

More than a week later, no suspect is in custody, no news in the past several days from the Attorney General's office.
All neighbors can do is speculate, and keep their guard up.

One neighbor, who didn't want to her name in print, said there is still a heavy police presence "around the clock."
"There are cruisers and unmarked cars, and every four hours they do a shift change," said the young mom. "I don't want you to use my name – as far as I know, the person who did this is still running around out there somewhere."
She said she also observed a "honeysucker" vacuum truck being used, with police escort and road blocks, to check drains along Newbury Street Monday – her guess is that police are still looking for evidence.
In fact, the New Hampshire Attorney General's office confirmed that a 9-hour search along Ingalls Street Sunday, including bringing a dive team in to search a nearby pond, was connected to the homicide investigation.
Nashua Police Department Dive Team and Crime Scene Investigation Team worked in a wooded area located to the south of Ingalls Street from about 10:30 a.m. until about 7:30 p.m. on June 23.
"My son asked me if he could go out and ride his bike to the park. I told him no – none of this makes us feel safe," she said. "It's a sad situation, and I understand they don't want to give away any information, but it's been more than a week. Some answers would help."
Anyone who may have information regarding the investigation is encouraged to contact the Nashua Police Department directly at (603) 594-3500, or anonymously through the Nashua Crime Line at (603) 589-1665.
