Man Arrested for Kicking in Woman's Door in Alleged Burglary Attempt

Nashua Police say the man rang a resident's door bell and then kicked in the door when no one answered.

Nashua police have arrested a local man on charges of attempted burglary after he allegedly kicked in the door of a woman's residence in broad daylight June 9.
Police said Kempton Doyle, 52, of 50 Westgate Crossing, Nashua, was charged with the Class B felony.
A woman living on West Hollis Street called police around 11 a.m. to report the break-in. She told police that someone rang her door bell and, when she did not recognize the man when she peered out, she did not answer the door and it was then kicked in.

The woman said the man entered her home but then fled when he saw her there.

Police officers stopped Doyle riding a bicycle in the area of West Hollis Street a short time later and he was taken into custody and charged.

Doyle was scheduled to be arraigned June 10.
