Man Reportedly Stabbed In The Butt In Nashua Park
A man suffered what appeared to be a single stab wound to the buttocks in a park. Police are focused on the park adjacent to Holman Stadium.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue, AMR, and police responded to the area of Artillery Lane and Sergeant Avenue Monday for a report of a person with a stab wound.
Responders arrived just after 8 p.m., with police securing the scene before first responders could treat the patient. It appeared responders were focused on a fenced-in area of North Common Field. The field is adjacent to Holman Stadium on Amherst Street.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a single stab wound to the buttock area. The injury did not appear to be life-threatening, based on radio transmissions.

Police with flashlights searched the victim's location before he was taken to the hospital. Nashua officers could be seen in the area attempting to find video cameras on residences nearby. Other officers searched along Artillery Lane and in an adjacent park but did not appear to locate anything.
A person at the scene told Patch he walked in the area regularly and said there was a homeless man who usually is in the same area, but there is no confirmation on who was stabbed.

At this time, Nashua police have two cruisers at the scene and continue searching the adjacent area for evidence.
