Man Stabbed During Alleged Assault In Nashua Parking Lot
Nathan Hill, 40, is accused of first-degree assault. The victim, a man, 43, suffered stab wounds to the chest on Chandler Street.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue, police, and AMR ambulance responded to a parking lot adjacent to 36 Chandler St. Thursday for a reported stabbing.
On arrival at about 11:15 a.m., they found a 43-year-old man suffering from an apparent stab wound(s) to the chest area. A trauma alert was requested at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and the man was transported. Police taped off the parking lot and detectives were requested to the scene. A large amount of blood, clothes, and medical supplies could be seen on the ground.
Police say that Nathan Hill, 40, who lives on Chandler Street, was charged with first-degree assault. He also had an electronic bench warrant with an unknown original charge.

Sources indicate the victim appears not to be a building resident and was working with a construction crew on the property at the time of the incident. The victim has severe injuries and, according to law enforcement services, was in surgery Thursday afternoon. He is expected to survive.
Hill is being held at Hillsborough County House of Corrections on preventative detention, pending arraignment, which may occur Friday in Hillsborough County Superior Court Southern District.
