Man Wanted In Keene Found In Hollis After Vermont Stolen Car Discovery
Police say Anthony Wilson, 26, a convicted sex offender, admitted to stealing a car in Brattleboro, Vermont, and driving it to Hollis.

HOLLIS, NH — A convicted sex offender was located in Hollis after police were searching the area when they found a stolen vehicle in their town from Brattleboro, Vermont.
On Monday, Hollis police officers located a vehicle parked in the area of the Nartoff Cemetery on Nartoff Road at about 11 p.m. With the assistance of Pepperell MA police, officers searched the surrounding area with a Pepperell K-9 and the Hollis Police Department's drone.
After searching a large area, they were unable to locate anyone. The car was towed from the scene and secured at the Hollis Police Department.

Shortly before 6 a.m., Officer Kyle Connors was patrolling the area of Farley Road when he located two men walking in the area. A records search revealed that one of the men, Anthony Wilson, 26, with no permanent address, had an active electronic bench warrant, which was issued in March by the Keene District Court for negligent failure to comply/sexual offender.
Wilson was placed under arrest and transported to Hollis PD. While in custody, he was interviewed and ultimately confessed to stealing the vehicle in Brattleboro and driving it to Hollis, according to police.

Wilson was additionally charged with receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and operating without a valid license.
The receiving stolen property offense was upgraded to a felony due to the fact that Wilson has two prior felony convictions for burglary and receiving stolen property.
Bail was set at $800 cash, which Wilson could not post, and he was brought to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections until his arraignment on Wednesday in the 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
