Man Charged with Alleged Child Abuse
Garrett McCormack was held on $10,000 bail following child abuse charge.

Garrett McCormack, 26, of Nashua, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault after police say he allegedly injured a child under the age of 13.
On August 21, 2013 at 11:55 p.m. police responded to an address on Whitney Street to check the condition of a child who had reportedly sustained bodily injury. An initial investigation by patrol officers identified McCormack as the person responsible. He was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

A second degree assault is punishable by 3 ó to 7 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. McCormack is being held on $10,000 cash bail pending arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on August 23, 2013.
