Massive Stolen Weapons Cache Seized By Nashua Police
Nashua police said officers seized 16 guns and more than 1,000 bullets from Wayne Shay and Sheri Napier at a Massachusetts residence.

PEPPERELL, MA — A Nashua man and Massachusetts woman were arrested Thursday after police said they found them with a massive cache of stolen weapons. Wayne Shay, 36, and Sheri Napier, 36, of Dracut, were found with 16 high-powered guns and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition that were recently stolen from Nashua, police said. Some of the weapons included an AR-15, an Uzi-style rifle, a .357 magnum and shotgun.
Police said officers arrested the couple at a Dracut residence and tracked the weapons cache to a Pepperell residence. The couple were held in custody pending extradition to New Hampshire and they are expected to face a host of weapons charges.
Police said they also seized 17 high-capacity magazines and a 100-round drum magazine from the couple.

Police provided this inventory of the weapons seized:
- Three AR-15-style semi-automatic rifles
- Two AK-47-style semi-automatic rifles
- Two .357 Magnum revolvers
- Uzi-style semi-automatic rifle
- M11 Tec 9-style semi-automatic firearm
- SKS semi-automatic rifle
- .308 caliber semi-automatic rifle
- .22 caliber AR-15 style semi-automatic rifle
- 16 gauge shotgun
- .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol
- 9mm semi-automatic pistol
- .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol
The investigation was conducted by Nashua police, Massachusetts State Police and the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.
