Merrimack Man Faces Charges After Shooting On West Hollis Street In Nashua Saturday
Seyvon Soto, 23, was located and arrested in Merrimack; he is accused of first-degree assault with a firearm and felony reckless conduct.
NASHUA, NH — A man from Merrimack has been arrested, accused of a shooting that occurred in Nashua over the weekend.
Fire, police, and EMS responded to 167 West Hollis St. Saturday for a report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg in the yard next to the house.
Fire and EMS gave medical treatment to the man after police brought him to the driveway near the scene. The victim, who police did not indicate age, was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment. Police said Saturday the victim was in stable condition.

After an investigation, police said they learned Seyvon Soto, 23, was a suspect in the incident. An arrest warrant was applied for and granted for Soto’s arrest, according to Nashua Police Sgt. John Cinelli.
Soto was later located by Nashua detectives operating a vehicle in Merrimack. He was stopped and taken into custody by the Merrimack police. Custody of Soto was then transferred to the Nashua Police Department.

Soto is accused of first-degree assault with a firearm and felony reckless conduct.
Soto was held on preventative detention and will be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District on Monday.
