Merrimack Man Indicted On Sexual Assault, Strangulation Charges: Superior Court Indictment Roundup
Man charged with indecent exposure/lewdness; Hudson, Nashua men accused of selling crack; man from Temple faces habitual offender charge.

NASHUA, NH — A grand jury in Hillsborough County recently indicted the people listed below.
Jesse Bass, 55, of Brookfield Drive in Johnson City, Tennessee, on a theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing three JBL Partybox speakers valued at more than $1,500 from BJ’s Wholesale Club in Nashua on Sept. 25, 2024.
Robert M. Bates, 40, of no fixed address in Nashua, on three possession of a controlled drug-subsequent charges, buprenorphine, clonazepam and crack cocaine, and four sale of a controlled drug-subsequent-crack cocaine charges, all felonies. The cases were connected to incidents in Nashua on Aug. 27, Sept. 3, Nov. 5, and Nov. 14, 2024, Jan. 20 and Jan. 24. Previously, according to the indictment, Bates was convicted of acts prohibited in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in May 2017.

Katrina Brogna, 33, of Pleasant Street in Nashua, on conspiracy to commit theft by unauthorized taking and willful concealment charges, both felonies. She was accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart in Hudson on April 30. Twice before, Brogna was convicted of theft in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in September 2020 and willful concealment in Milford District Court in July 2020.
William McLean, 36, of Bridge Street in Nashua, on two felony indecent exposure and lewdness charges. He was accused of pleasuring himself in front of a child on Oct. 1, 2024, and March 4 in Nashua,

Jonathan Neat, 36, of no fixed address on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine charge on Jan. 16 in Nashua.

Brooke Alyson Pfaff, 45, of Orchard Avenue in Nashua, on a felony reckless conduct-deadly weapon charge. She was accused of driving a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed in Hudson on May 20 and failing to stop at a red light, crossing visible lane markers, and placing other people in danger.
Deante Nathaniel Raymond, 20, of London Court in Merrimack, on aggravated felonious sexual assault and two second-degree assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of sexually assaulting a family member and strangling her twice on May 31 in Merrimack.
Craig Riley, 52, of Lorraine Street in Hudson, on theft by unauthorized taking and two sale of crack cocaine while on bail charges, all felonies. He was accused of stealing $39 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Hudson on Nov. 11, 2024, after being convicted of theft in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in February 2009 and October 2013. Riley sold the crack to a person cooperating with the Nashua police on March 26 and April 7, according to the indictment. He was previously convicted of acts prohibited in November 2022.
Mark Rohleder, 62, of Moran Road in Temple, on a felony operating while deemed a habitual offender-subsequent charge. He was accused of driving on Route 101 in Wilton on April 27 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV in July 2024.
James N. Sanford, 47, of Raleigh Drive in Nashua, on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-fentanyl charge on March 6 in Merrimack.
