Motorcyclist Injured in Amherst Street Crash

An motorcyclist was hurt in an accident at in the area of 42 Amherst Street during the evening rush, near Holman Stadium.

Nashua Police Sgt. Steve Sweeney said the accident happened at about 4:51 p.m. and involved two cars and a motorcycle.

Traffic was detoured between Broad and Merrimack streets around the accident scene while police gathered evidence, took photos and brought in a reconstruction team. 

Sweeney said Amherst Street was reopened to traffic shortly after 7 p.m.
