NAMI Walks NH Walk-a-Thon

On the morning of Sunday, October 6, 2013 NH residents will reach down to tie their sneakers, then stand up to stigma – together.  For the 11th year, hundreds of Walkers will gather to support the 254,000 adults and 55,000 children in New Hampshire affected by mental illness annually.  NAMIWalks NH features a 5K scenic downtown route, or a ¾ mile stroll.  The event kicks off from the soccer fields on South Fruit St. in Concord, across from Memorial Field.  Registration opens at 9:00 am, with an official Walk start time of 10:30 am.  NAMIWalks NH features music, activities, entertainment, MC Mya from 105.5 WJYY, a bounce house, face painting, free grilled lunch, and more.  NAMIWalks NH is family-friendly and dog-friendly; there’s no fee to register and no minimum fundraising amount.
