NASHUA, NH— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Nashua, meet Carl Sheehan.

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

What makes your dad extra special?

My dad raised me and my sister as a single dad for the majority of our lives and we both still live at home with him. I have 2 children and he has the most amazing bond with both of them. He had a heart attack in 2021 just days after my son was born and has made a full recovery. He continues to work full-time and overtime to make sure his 4 kids and 2 grandchildren always have everything they need and want because that’s the type of man he is. He has a forgiving heart of gold. He is definitely my hero. We love you, Dad! And we appreciate all your hard work in raising us!

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

He is an amazing father and grandfather.
