Nashua Deputy Police Chief Suspended With Pay

Police Commissioner declined to discuss the action involving Deputy Chief Scott Howe.

Nashua Deputy Police Chief Scott Howe has been placed on administrative leave, with pay, the Union Leader reports.

Nashua Police Commission Chair Thomas Pappas told the newspaper that Howe was temporarily relieved of duty Friday, citing a "personnel matter."

Pappas would not say what prompted the action, or whether it involved an investigation by the NH Attorney General's office lanched in March, looking at the Nashua Police Relief Association as requested by Nashua Police Chief John Seusing.
