Nashua Fire At Manufacturing Facility
Nashua firefighters said a metal-cutting machine caught fire at a Perimeter Road business.

NASHUA, NH — A fire broke out at a Nashua manufacturing facility Tuesday night, fire officials said. The blaze was caused by a metal-cutting machine, according to Nashua Deputy Chief Glen MacDonald. Firefighters extinguished the fire and no one was hurt.
"A hot ember got into the machine filtration system and ignited the large filters in the machine," MacDonald said in a statement. "The fire was quickly extinguished. A large amount of smoke filled the building and took a while to ventilate."
The fire broke out at about 10:45 p.m.
