Fire At Nashua Apartment Building On White Avenue
Nashua firefighters extinguished a fire on the second floor of a residence on White Avenue.

NASHUA, NH — A fire broke out in Nashua at a White Avenue residence Tuesday afternoon. The blaze started on the second floor of an apartment building at about 4:30 p.m., according to Nashua Deputy Fire Chief Steve Buxton. All the occupants fled the apartment; no one was hurt.
Firefighters knocked down the flames in about 20 minutes.
"Freezing temperatures caused the water on the fire scene to quickly freeze and create slippery conditions," Buxton said in a statement.
