Nashua Firefighters Respond To Gas Leak Inside Home
Residents evacuated on Drury Lane due to a gas leak apparently caused by a firearm discharged accidentally, striking the gas line.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua Fire Rescue was dispatched to Drury Lane to assist Liberty Utilities with ventilating gas from a residence on Sunday.
When Nashua firefighters arrived at about 6 p.m, Liberty Utilities was in the process of shutting off gas to a unit in the Glenn Abbey complex due to an active gas leak. Firefighters set up multiple fans to ventilate the unit and continued to check gas level readings in the original unit and surrounding units.
Several occupants in the section of connected townhouse-style buildings were outside while firefighters worked on ventilating. A short time later, a request was made for Nashua police to respond.
