The Nashua Board of Education and Board of Aldermen have key meetings this week toward achieving a final budget for fiscal year 2015. The Nashua city and school meetings this week include:

May 12

• Board of Fire Commission, 6 p.m., 177 Lake St., Training Room. Local 789 presentation on Fire-Based EMS at 5 p.m., with Board of Fire Commission to follow at 6 p.m.

• Nashua Board of Education, 7 p.m., Nashua High School North Board Room.

• Zoning Board of Adjustment, 6:30 p.m., Nashua City Hall auditorium.

• Board of Education, 6:30 p.m., Finance and Operations Committee, at School Administrative Building.

• Board of Aldermen, 7:30 p.m., Aldermanic Chambers.

• Committee on Infrastructure, 7 p.m., Aldermanic Chambers.

• Nashua Board of Education/Budget Committee, 7 p.m., at Nashua High School North board room, to discuss further budget reductions.

• Nashua Budget Review Committee, 7 p.m., Aldermanic Chambers. Departmental reviews: Public Library and Public Safety / Police Department, Law Enforcement Training.
