Nashua Man Accused Of Strangling Woman

Nashua police said David Vasquez-Larkin faces 10 charges, including second-degree assault.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Thursday and accused of strangling a woman, according to police. David Vasquez-Larkin, 32, was charged with second-degree assault and nine counts of assault, domestic violence-related. He refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment.

Nashua Police Capt. James Testaverde said officers were dispatched to a residence on New Year's Day Tuesday at about 4 p.m.

"The victim, who is known to Vasquez-Larkin, reported that Vasquez-Larkin assaulted her to include strangling her to the point she felt her breathing was impeded," Testaverde said in a statement. "The victim sustained minor physical injuries."

Vasquez-Larkin was scheduled for an arraignment Friday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
