Nashua Man Accused Of Threatening Others With a Gun
Aaron Rushton, 19, was charged with criminal threatening with a firearm and arrested peacefully after a standoff with police.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Sunday after being accused of threatening several people with a gun, the Nashua Police Department said.
Aaron Rushton, 19, was charged with four counts of criminal threatening with a firearm and one count of use of firearms, all are Class B felonies, police said. Each Class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison.
The Nashua PD said Rushton is being held on preventative detention and is scheduled to be arraigned at Hillsborough County Superior Court-South on Wednesday.

According to police reports, at 4:33 p.m. Sunday, members of the Nashua PD's Field Operations Bureau were called to a disturbance in the area of Pine Street.
When they arrived at the scene, officers learned that Rushton had allegedly threatened several subjects with a firearm and then fled into a nearby residence, the Nashua PD said.

The department said that a standoff ensued and that officers negotiated with Rushton.
Eventually, officers peacefully gained Rushton's cooperation and the suspect was placed under arrest, according to the Nashua PD.
The department said that officers from its Criminal Investigation Division have furthered the investigation.
