Nashua Man Arrested On Sexual Assault Charge From September 2023
Yoan Mercedes faces a felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charge after being accused by a woman of sexual assault.
NASHUA, NH — A man from Nashua was arrested last week on a sexual assault charge.
Back on Sept. 14, 2023, police were sent to a report of a sexual assault. They met with a woman who accused Yoan Mercedes, 25, of Nashua, of sexually assaulting her. She called Mercedes a male acquaintance, a report said.

Detectives were assigned to the case and furthered the investigation, which led to a warrant for Mercedes’ arrest on a single felony count of aggravated felonious sexual assault.

Mercedes was arrested on July 15 and held without bail and arraigned.
