Nashua Man Charged With Robbery, Resisting Arrest After Attack

NASHUA, NH — Police arrested and charged a Nashua man on Sunday in connection with an assault and armed robbery earlier that day, Nashua Police Department said.

The condition of the person attacked, who was not identified, was not disclosed. Officers arrived at the crime scene at 4:13 p.m. after receiving a call from the victim, who reported an unknown man pushed them to the ground, threatened them with a knife and demanded money, police said.

Lucas Scott Jones-Farlow, 22, was located near the scene and subsequently arrested and charged with the crime, police said. During the interaction with police, Jones-Farlow resisted the officers’ attempts to detain and arrest him on three separate occasions, police said. Jones-Farlow is charged with robbery and three counts of resisting arrest, police said.

Jones-Farlow was held on $2,500 cash bail, police said.

If convicted, Jones-Farlow faces a maximum of 15 years in prison and 1 year for each count of resisting arrest.

The assault occurred in the area of East Hollis Street and Harbor Avenue early Sunday afternoon. Police located Jones-Farlow near the crime scene, and with help from the Criminal Investigation Division, police identified and arrested Jones-Farlow for the crime at 8:45 p.m., police said. Jones-Farlow is scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District on Monday.
