Nashua Man Charged With Multiple Counts Of Identity And Credit Card Fraud
Dujae Richards, 30, was indicted after representing himself as an 89-year-old man to obtain loans and credit cards, said investigators.

CONCORD, NH — A Nashua man has been indicted by the Hillsborough County-Southern DistrictCourt with four counts of identity fraud and two counts of fraudulent credit card use, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General's office.
Dujae Richards, 30, falsely represented himself as an 89-year-old man to New York Life Insurance Company and American Express to obtain loans and a credit card, said a press release from the Attorney General's office. The state is seeking an extended prison sentence for each count because of the persons' age and vulnerability while impairing the senior's ability to manage their property and finances. Richards will face 10-30 years and a $4,000 fine for each count if convicted.
Between Oct. 21 and Nov. 11, 2020, Richards posed as a senior to New York Life Insurance Company and received an undisclosed loan amount. From August to October, 2020, Richards acquired and knowingly used credit cards in the elderly victim's name and purchased over $3,000 in goods and services, said the Attorney General's Office.
