Nashua Man Charged with Assault, Threatening

A Nashua man was arrested after he allegedly threatened one person with a knife and punched another person in the face on Saturday.
At 11:47 p.m. Saturday, members of the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested Michael Greenwood, 24, of 114 Amherst St., Apt. 9, Nashua. He is charged with criminal threatening and simple assault.
Around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a complaint made at the police station in reference to an incident that had occurred in a north end apartment. The incident was further investigated by detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, who subsequently arrested Greenwood.
Greenwood is charged with threatening a victim with a knife after an altercation at the residence that evening. He is also charged with punching another victim in the mouth. Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.
He was held on $5000 cash or surety bail pending an upcoming arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
