Nashua Man Faces DWI Charge In Double Fatal Crash On DW Highway
Nashua Police Say George Palazzo Jr. has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a Class B Felony for the crash.
NASHUA, NH - Nashua Police have charged George Palazzo Jr., 53 of Old Coach Road, Nashua, New Hampshire for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.
Police say Palazzo was driving north on Daniel Webster Highway when he crossed the median and struck a motorcycle with two people on it Sunday.
Both occupants of the motorcycle a 68-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The man and the woman were thrown from the motorcycle, and the truck continued dragging the motorcycle.
After the motorcycle came out from under the truck, the truck caught fire, and the driver exited the vehicle.

Officers made contact with Palazzo Jr. at the scene and made observations that he appeared to be impaired by alcohol. Palazzo Jr. was placed under arrest for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Class B Felony.
