Nashua Man Fired Air Rifle Into Neighbor's Apartment: Police

Nashua police said Alex Costello fired several metal pellets from his air rifle through his wall into his neighbor's apartment.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Wednesday after police said he fired his air rifle through his neighbor's apartment. Alex Costello, 28, was charged with reckless conduct, a felony. He was held without bail.

Nashua Police Lt. Daniel Mederos said officers were dispatched to Costello's Casco Drive apartment Wednesday at about 6 p.m. for a report of shots fired.

"Patrol Officers learned several metal pellets had been fired from an air rifle through the wall of Alex Costello’s apartment and into the adjacent apartment, which was occupied at the time," Mederos said in a statement.

No one was hurt.

Costello was scheduled for an arraignment Thursday.
