Nashua Man Raped Woman While She Slept: Police

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested this week and charged with raping a woman while she slept, police said Tuesday. Jay Duclos, 52, was charged with aggravated sexual assault, a felony.

Nashua police Lieutenant Robert Page said officers received a report Sunday that Duclos sexually assaulted a woman.

"The victim reported Duclos sexually assaulted her while she was asleep and subsequently woke up," Page said in a statement.

Duclos refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment Tuesday in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
