Nashua Man Rescued After Hand Gets Stuck In Plow

Nashua fire officials said a man suffered a traumatic hand injury on Farmington Road.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon after his hand became stuck in a snow plow. Firefighters pulled the man free and he was hospitalized with a "traumatic" injury. The incident happened on Farmington Road at about noon.

Nashua Deputy Fire Chief Glen MacDonald said the man's hand became caught between the blade and a spring-loaded trip edge. Firefighters removed the springs to release the edge, freeing the man's hand, MacDonald said.

A storm was expected to drop more than a foot of snow on Nashua late Saturday night into Sunday.
