Nashua Police Investigating Gruesome Stabbing Of A Man On Anvil Drive

Police flooded the area and began treating a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Witnesses say the perpetrator fled from the scene.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police, fire, and AMR Ambulance responded to a report of a man suffering from stab wounds on Anvil Drive on Tuesday.

Police arrived at the scene just before 9 p.m. and asked for the ambulance to expedite due to the severity of the injuries to the man. Radio broadcasts and witnesses said that a suspect who was believed to still have the knife fled the scene.

The neighborhood was flooded with Nashua police officers searching on foot and in cruisers. Hillsborough County Sherriff’s deputies were also assisting in the area and New Hampshire State Police dispatched units to the area.

Police, AMR medics, and Nashua firefighters were treating a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. A trauma alert was requested for Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Radio traffic indicated a severe stab wound to the abdomen and wounds to the arm and shoulder.

Several young children were at the scene and could be heard describing what happened to the police. A neighbor approached the police, offered his description of what happened, and provided details on the alleged assailant. Several cars rushed to the area, and the occupants were emotionally united with some children who had appeared to witness the stabbing.

A Nashua Police officer used a K-9 to search the area, including the street, bushes around a duplex, and several areas along Anvil Drive. Police put up crime scene tape around the front and side of the duplex with an address on 66 Anvil Drive.

At this time, there was no confirmation about the victim's condition and if the suspect has been taken into custody.
