Nashua Residents Urged To Experience Night Of Homelessness For A Cause

In one night, participants will "gain a deeper understanding of the hardships faced by those experiencing homelessness," United Way says.

NASHUA, NH — The United Way of Greater Nashua is inviting locals to "spend the night experiencing the challenges of homelessness" in the spirit of raising awareness and funds at their "United We Sleep" event this month.

The event, set to take place from 5 p.m. Sept. 27 to 8 a.m. Sept. 28 at Nashua Community College, aims to help combat homelessness and support vital community services, the organization said Wednesday.

"United We Sleep is more than just an event; it’s an urgent call to action," according to the United Way of Greater Nashua. "Our community is facing tough times, and the funds raised through this event are desperately needed to support our safety net services."
