Nashua SWAT Negotiating With A Barricaded Man In Apartment Complex

NASHUA, NH — Nashua Police, Nashua SWAT, and AMR ambulance are on the scene at a barricaded subject inside of the Royal Crest apartment complex.

Police were called for a disturbance at about 7 p.m. Monday at 31 Royal Crest, according to several residents on the scene. Police evacuated some people from buildings, and others were asked to shelter in place.

Nashua police have a spotlight shining on the window where the subject is. You can hear what sounds like a man's voice, occasionally yelling at the police.

A negotiator from Nashua police is reported to be at the scene and attempting to speak to the subject inside.

As of 10:45 p.m., the scene is still active and police continue to talk to the subject.

Nashua Police Public Information Sgt John Cinelli said it "is an ongoing investigation but we believe he is alone in the apartment. "
