Nashua Woman Accused Of Using Gun To Threaten Fellow Motel Guest

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman was arrested early Monday after being accused of using a gun to threaten a fellow motel guest, according to the Nashua Police Department.

Michelle M Lagasse, 53, was charged with criminal threatening, a Class B felony, in connection with the incident that took place around midnight at Motel 6, located at 77 Spit Brook Road in Nashua, police said.

Authorities said Lagasse was released on $250 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District on Tuesday. The suspect also has been ordered to remain away from the Motel 6 and is prohibited from possessing any deadly weapons while out on bail, police said.

According to police reports, officers responded to the motel after being called about one person making threats to another person.

At the scene, officers made contact with one female guest, who said she had been threatened by another female guest, who had a firearm, the Nashua PD said.

The department said its officers identified Lagasse as the person responsible for making the threats with a firearm. Officers arrested Lagasse at 12:23 a.m., police said.

The Nashua PD said detectives from its Criminal Investigations Unit investigated the incident and recovered the firearm that Lagasse allegedly used to threaten the other guest.

According to police, the women were not known to one another. Police also said that nobody was injured in the incident and no firearms were discharged.
