New Locations For MRIs And CT Scans Open In Southern NH
Two new imaging centers offering MRI and CT scans have opened in Manchester and Nashua, and they're cheaper than ones you'd get elsewhere.

NASHUA, NH — A healthcare company hopes to bring down the cost of healthcare in southern New Hampshire with two new imaging centers offering MRI and CT scans in Manchester and Nashua.
Tellica Imaging, an Intermountain Health company, offers advanced imaging — but "because they’re done in traditional retail locations without the overhead of a hospital or traditional medical setting, the cost is significantly lower," according to the company.
"A large percentage of the imaging we do in medicine could be done outside of a hospital, but people usually go to a hospital out of habit not realizing it may cost thousands of dollars more," Doug Greally, MD, president chief medical officer for Tellica Imaging, said. "Medical imaging is fundamental to both diagnosis and treatment of patients in modern medicine, and this is how we’re improving access for everyone."

While some insurances may cover the service, the most anyone would pay out of pocket is $400 for a CT scan and $600 for an MRI, according to the company. The fee includes the radiologist reading, lab work, and any intravenous contrast.
Tellica uses flat rate transparent pricing, so patients know what they will pay upfront.
