NH Drunk-Driving Patrols Net 8 Arrests: Police

New Hampshire State Police held a pair of drunk-driving patrols over the weekend.

DOVER, NH — Three people were charged with driving while intoxicated and five others were arrested during a pair of drunk-driving patrols conducted by New Hampshire State Police Friday. One patrol in Strafford County netted eight arrests; the other in the Manchester area resulted in no arrests.

These were the individuals arrested in the Strafford County patrol:

  • Drew Hankins, 29, of Newbury, Massachusetts, was charged with DWI, possessing/transporting drugs
  • William Stowell, 30, of Stratham, was charged woth DWI
  • Anne Wilson, 35, of Dover, was charged with DWI
  • Tiffany Taylor, 33, of Somersworth, was charged with driving after suspension
  • Kayla Sanders, 28, of Barrington, was charged with driving after suspension
  • Peter Estes, 30, of Dover, was charged with driving after suspension
  • Laura Beilby, 31, of Dover, was charged with being habitual offender
  • Robert Burley, 55, Lebanon, Maine, was arrested on a warrant

Somersworth and Dover police helped conduct the checkpoint, during which 146 vehicles were stopped. Eighty vehicles were stopped in the Manchester area checkpoint.

"New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight impaired driving and the law enforcement community will use those tools to their fullest extent to make sure our citizens and visitors are safe when operating their vehicles on our roadways," New Hampshire State Police said in a statement.
