NH Fugitive of the Week Captured

Police found Omar Rivera trying to hide in a bedroom at a Goffstown residence.

Hillsborough County Sheriff James A. Hardy announced the arrest of Omar Rivera, the U.S. Marshal's Service's "Fugitive of the Week," coming within about a day after authorities posted the regular feature.

Several tips led the Sheriff's Office, Goffstown police and state parole/probation personnel to Rivera, 30, and his apprehension March 27 on Pattee Hill Road in Goffstown.

He was wanted for allegedly violating probation in connection with a heroin case, according to the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force.

Rivera was found attempting to conceal himself in a bedroom inside the residence. He being held on $10,000 cash bail at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections.
