NH Motorcyclist Killed In Hudson Crash
Hudson police said Richard McLaughlin, of Hudson, died in a collision on Route 111.

HUDSON, NH — A Hudson motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday night, police said. The deceased was identified as Richard McLaughlin, 57. The crash happened on Route 111 at about 5:30 p.m., according to Hudson Police Lieutenant Mike Gosselin.
McLaughlin was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on Route 111 when a 19-year-old Hudson teenager driving a Toyota Corolla on Clement Road turned onto Route 111 and collided with the motorcycle, Gosselin said.
"The responding firefighters and EMT’s performed advanced life saving measures to rescue Mr. McLaughlin," Gosselin said in a statement. "However, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene."

McLaughlin was wearing a helmet, according to Gosselin. The teen, who was wearing a seat belt, was not hurt in the crash.
"Drugs or alcohol do not seem to be a factor in the collision," Gosselin added. "The accident remains under investigation."
