Paper Trail to Nowhere on Main Street
A litter bug was on the loose on Main Street, leaving someone else to clean up the mess. Not cool.

Could not figure out what happened here, but someone lost a sizable amount of paper along both sides of Main Street, coming off East Dunstable, which I chronicled with my dashboard cam.
Then I pulled over and walked back in the direction of the litter, picking up one of the errant sheets of paper to see if a frustrated teacher had maybe freaked out and tossed the high school comp class essays on "Huck Finn," or perhaps a slap-happy alderman was making a statement about the need to reduce paper use for city business.
Turns out the paperwork left a trail to nowhere -- just blank sheets. I ran back to my car, since it's a dangerous place to be out and about.
And while we may never find out what happened or who was responsible, I was heartened to see, on my second drive by, two civic-minded kids stuffing the load of litter into a recycling bin, technically answering the question of who's responsible.
