In her first podcast interview as New Hampshire’s governor, Republican Kelly Ayotte talks about the budget challenges facing the Granite State, her determination to get a sanctuary city ban passed through the legislature, and why her “Don’t MASS Up NH” motto continues to resonate.

And Ayotte responds to news the U.S. House passed the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act,” which could change Title IX protections and ensure only people assigned female at birth participate in women and girls athletics, on Tuesday on a vote of 218-206-1. Both New Hampshire Democrats, Reps. Maggie Goodlander and Chris Pappas, voted against it.
